Givaudan seeks a Senior Regulatory Data Analyst in Vernier to manage compliance monitoring, analyze regulatory data, and support global chemical compliance strategies.
This position sits within the Regulatory Ingredients Compliance Strategy CoE, reporting directly to the Registration & Compliance Lead. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert in chemical regulatory compliance, tasked with overseeing compliance monitoring reviews to ensure all regulatory obligations are fulfilled and associated risks are effectively mitigated.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive compliance monitoring across all CCL aspects to verify adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and desired outcomes.
- Partner with the RAPS team and business stakeholders to finalize reports for submission to various boards and sub-committees.
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Present monitoring findings and recommendations at sub-committee sessions when required.
- Assist in reviewing, updating, and developing regulatory and compliance policies to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development of global compliance solutions, including testing protocols and team training.
- Design and implement metrics, reporting platforms, and dashboards to track and manage compliance performance.
- Monitor monitoring actions from initiation through to successful resolution.
- Identify business challenges and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Drive the automation and computerization of analytics and data collection workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline.
- At least five years of experience in a compliance role within the chemical or a related industry.
- Strong proficiency with BI tools, SAP, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Business-level fluency in both English and French.
- Proven ability to support cross-functional groups and teams.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL, as well as AI concepts.
- Solid working knowledge of CCL regulatory requirements and legal guidelines.
