Alstom seeks a Senior Service Bid and Project Manager in Villeneuve to drive service growth, manage tenders, and optimize project financial performance within the transport sector.
Reporting to the Site Tenders & Projects Director, this position operates within the Services product line, which focuses on maximizing customer asset value throughout the lifecycle of transport units. The role supports the Villeneuve site's manufacturing and maintenance activities while collaborating closely with customer directors to implement business development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the service growth strategy for Switzerland and the Villeneuve site.
- Execute business development initiatives in close coordination with customer directors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners.
- Identify and propose new opportunities to the Customer Director and Platform team.
- Conduct detailed analysis of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
- Assist the Tender Leader in organizing key meetings such as Win/No-Go, Tender Review, and Tender Transfer, as well as consolidating inputs for Win/Loss Analysis.
- Drive QCD optimization and secure clear commitments from all relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive submission documentation, including technical descriptions, schedules, and pricing models.
- Oversee project QCDP performance and enhance financial results regarding margin and cash flow.
- Establish project governance structures and define strategies aligned with contract obligations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
- At least five years of experience as a project manager or in operational management.
- German language proficiency at B2 or C1 level.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Proven team management skills.
- Experience working within matrix organizations.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- A leadership mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Solid understanding of project management processes.
Nice to have
- IPMA Level C certification.
- Familiarity with Alstom’s working methods.
- Experience in multinational corporate environments.
- Knowledge of railway products and systems.
