The company is seeking a Service Technician for industrial refrigeration in the Bassersdorf-Zurich area. The role involves commissioning, maintaining, and repairing large-scale systems, including ammonia plants, with a flexible regional service area.
This position places you within a prominent industrial refrigeration group in Switzerland, focusing on complex, large-scale projects. The service territory is customized to keep you close to your home location, allowing you to work efficiently in your designated region.
Responsibilities
- Commission, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial refrigeration, HVAC, chilled water, and ammonia (NH₃) systems.
- Hand over completed installations to clients, providing operational training and necessary documentation.
- Advise clients on preventive maintenance, safety protocols, and technical upgrades.
- Execute modifications and upgrades on existing setups.
- Ensure high-quality maintenance, repair, and service standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to guarantee system availability and customer support.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in Refrigeration Technology, HVAC, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience in commissioning and servicing industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and chilled water systems.
- Experience with ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration systems is required.
- Valid Category B driver's license.
- Professional English skills are required.
