Solution Architect SAP PS & SD

Bühler seeks a Senior Solution Architect for SAP PS & SD in Uzwil, CH. The role blends strategic architecture with hands-on ABAP development to design scalable customer project solutions.

This position focuses on defining and executing end-to-end architectures for customer project workflows within SAP PS and SD ecosystems. The architect works closely with Product Owners and development teams to build integrated, future-proof systems, balancing high-level design with practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Define the SAP solution architecture for customer project management, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards.
• Design technical specifications and either implement solutions directly or guide teams through the full delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and agile squads to refine, deploy, and maintain solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Guarantee smooth integration between SAP PS/SD, other SAP modules, and external platforms to support efficient business processes.
• Deliver expert third-level support, resolving complex technical incidents and coordinating with stakeholders for timely fixes.

Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent international qualification.
• At least five years of professional experience, including three years specifically in SAP solution architecture, development, or a similar technical role.
• Deep knowledge of SAP PS and/or SD, or a strong architectural background in other SAP modules like FI/CO combined with broad SAP expertise.
• Strong practical skills in ABAP and ABAP OO, including experience with custom programs, enhancements, BAPIs, and BADIs.
• Fluent proficiency in English for business communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Familiarity with BTP, OData, and CDS technologies.
