Viu in Geneva seeks a Store Manager / Optometrist (m/f/d) for a full-time, onsite role. The position combines optical expertise with store leadership, sales responsibility, and team development.
This role combines optical professionalism with store management, ensuring smooth daily operations and driving sales performance. The manager is expected to lead with clarity and approachability while contributing to the store’s and team’s ongoing growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and professional standards in a clear, organized, and customer-friendly manner.
- Own sales performance and compile monthly reports.
- Serve as the in-store expert on all optical topics.
- Perform precise eye examinations and analyze prescription data.
- Provide honest, stylish advice to customers on both optical and aesthetic aspects.
- Carry out technical adjustments on-site.
- Maintain efficient processes including ordering, inventory, and product display.
- Propose ideas to support team and store development.
Requirements
- Completed optometrist training or degree.
- Sales experience, preferably in fashion, design, or premium products.
- Leadership experience or a clear readiness to step into a leadership role.
- Fluency in French and English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of German is beneficial.
