This position focuses on creating and implementing targeted procurement strategies for IT categories such as SaaS, cloud solutions, hardware, and cybersecurity. Responsibilities
- Create and implement targeted procurement strategies for IT categories including SaaS, cloud solutions, hardware, and cybersecurity.
- Perform supplier analysis, conduct market research, and oversee the selection process for vendors.
- Lead contract negotiations and build lasting relationships with suppliers.
- Find cost-reduction opportunities and manage sourcing projects that support category objectives.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies, risk management standards, and supplier performance metrics.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure procurement activities match business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier assessment, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with procurement platforms like SAP or Oracle, plus data tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach focused on delivering value.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional sourcing efforts.
