IT Product Owner - Real Estate & Facility Management (f/m/d)

Axpo Tegra AG seeks a Senior IT Product Owner in Baden to manage Facility Management applications, bridging technical implementation with business strategy in a collaborative, on-site role.

This position extends beyond traditional product ownership by partnering closely with the Technical Application Manager. The role covers the full lifecycle of solutions, including design, implementation, testing, and support, while also providing analytics and consulting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical issues and business requirements to drive implementation and manage changes in connected systems.
• Oversee application configuration, acceptance testing, and ongoing maintenance.
• Train staff on the effective use of software tools.
• Administer user access in strict compliance with security protocols.
• Automate administrative tasks, particularly regarding user management.
• Prioritize and maintain product backlogs in close coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Help define and refine the strategic vision and roadmap for assigned applications.
• Assist in negotiating vendor contracts, service level agreements, and pricing structures.

Requirements

• A university degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related discipline.
• Five to seven years of experience managing IT applications, specifically within Facility Management environments.
• Solid understanding of integrated IT landscapes, including business processes and technical interfaces.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and web technologies.
• Proven ability to integrate new applications and interfaces into existing systems.
• Familiarity with vendor management practices and software development life cycles.
• Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
