Responsibilities

  • Guide, mentor, and support the professional development of the software engineering team.
  • Cultivate a cooperative atmosphere that promotes knowledge exchange and teamwork.
  • Maintain strict adherence to established development standards, architectural guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Champion the adoption of modern technologies, DevOps workflows, and low-code solutions to enhance processes.
  • Assist developers in overcoming complex technical hurdles to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and other leads to synchronize development efforts with broader organizational aims.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
  • Extensive background in software development, featuring deep expertise in contemporary programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, alongside DevOps principles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), microservices designs, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities, paired with a cooperative approach.
  • Fluent proficiency in both German and English, for written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience utilizing low-code platforms, particularly Mendix, for accelerated application development.
