SIX Financial Information seeks a Lead Application Developer in Olten to design scalable systems for Post-Trading within an agile, collaborative team.
This position serves as a Lead Application Designer & Developer within the Application Development Team. The primary objective is to deliver innovative, robust solutions for customers while operating in an agile environment that prioritizes collaboration, trust, and individual ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable web applications and core systems for the Post-Trading business, ensuring robust architecture and efficient implementation.
- Modernize and maintain existing enterprise applications and web services.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Architects to define technical solutions and keep documentation up to date.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Promote automation in development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, and foster open communication within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java (OpenJDK), Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift, GitLab, Ansible, Tomcat, and WildFly.
- Solid experience working with relational databases.
- Ability to lead and support development teams with technical guidance while actively contributing as a lead developer.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and web security principles.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have
- German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
