Supply Chain Manager Assistant (m/w/d)

Mikron SA Agno seeks a Supply Chain Manager Assistant to oversee logistics, purchasing, and inventory in a dynamic engineering setting. The role requires strong supplier management skills and proficiency in English and Mandarin.

This position supports the company’s engineering operations by ensuring smooth material flow and supply continuity. Working within a collaborative team, the assistant helps maintain efficient processes through continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics, purchasing, and inventory tasks to keep operations running without interruption.
• Align supply activities with customer demand forecasts and coordinate with partners to ensure material availability.
• Track stock levels and procurement status to prevent shortages.
• Manage warehouse activities and optimize the flow of materials.
• Identify and execute improvements in purchasing and supply chain workflows.
• Handle end-to-end supplier management, including sourcing, qualification, performance reviews, contract negotiations, and audits.
• Assess supplier reliability and quality based on key performance metrics.
• Explore new sourcing options, including international suppliers, to find cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide purchasing support to customer service teams.
• Take part in monthly planning sessions for operational output and material needs.

Requirements

• A diploma or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least three to four years of experience in industrial purchasing, supply chain, or procurement.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers, negotiate effectively, and analyze data.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle multiple priorities, and lead improvement efforts.
