Brenntag Schweizerhall AG seeks a Swiss Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Basel to support EMEA pharmaceutical supply chains with regulatory, legal, and compliance matters.
This position assists EMEA divisions with the supply of raw materials to the pharmaceutical sector. The role covers regulatory, legal, compliance, quality, and product safety topics, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and regulatory documentation in English to address customer information requests regarding raw material supplies.
- Gather necessary data from internal sources and external suppliers to fulfill customer inquiries.
- Track and document customer requests using key performance indicators.
- Work with commercial and value-added services teams to lead and manage regulatory aspects of customer projects.
- Partner with QHSE and supply chain departments to maintain regulatory compliance and implement new standards.
- Collaborate with the global Pharma Regulatory team on business unit initiatives.
- Create and maintain product regulatory information in a standardized format.
- Deliver training on regulatory topics to commercial and supply chain staff.
Requirements
- Hold a degree or possess significant experience in life sciences.
- Understand pharmaceutical industry regulations for APIs, excipients, biopharma, and traditional raw materials.
- Be familiar with Swiss Medic and European National Competent Authority requirements for distributing APIs, excipients, and raw materials.
- Demonstrate fluency in English and German or Swiss German, both spoken and written.
- Show ability to resolve compliance issues and answer complex regulatory questions.
