Technical Configuration Developer

Catram AG in Rüschlikon, CH, seeks a Junior Technical Configuration Developer for a full-time onsite role. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, experience in software development, and strong skills in object-oriented programming, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and XML. Candidates must have excellent English skills and familiarity with Linux, 3D modeling, and CAD tools.

This role supports the Product Owner in defining software requirements and collaborates with Software Architects on system design. It requires expertise in R&D software development and an understanding of 3D modeling and CAD integration to contribute to the company’s innovative medical and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software features using a specified programming language
• Create and improve automated tests to maintain high software quality
• Validate code using simulators and physical instruments
• Conduct code reviews following established procedures
• Maintain documentation in line with company processes
• Provide third-level support for software-related issues

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
• Several years of software development experience with proactive thinking and responsibility
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, JavaScript, Python, and SQL
• Very good understanding of XML as a metalanguage
• Familiarity with markup languages, vector mathematics, and database queries
• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or Visual Studio
• Basic knowledge of Linux, 3D modeling, and CAD tools
• Excellent written and spoken English
