Endress+Hauser seeks a Technology Manager for Industrial Networks & IIoT in Reinach, CH, to lead digital transformation strategies and IIoT initiatives for process plants.
The company is looking for a leader to join its Digital Solutions unit, which serves as the central hub for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) innovation. In this role, you will steer the global innovation process by assessing emerging technologies, defining strategic directions, and advising on the digitalization of process plants using Ethernet-based fieldbus systems and IIoT frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and future technology trends to inform strategic business decisions.
- Create practical strategies and technical specifications derived from technology assessments.
- Act as a subject matter expert for digitization and IIoT, aligning solutions with the specific needs of process industry clients.
- Assist development and sales teams by providing expert training and support on relevant systems and technologies.
- Lead internal working groups to standardize company guidelines, specifications, and operational norms.
- Represent the organization in international committees and standard development bodies.
Requirements
- Possess an engineering degree, ideally with hands-on experience in product or technology management within industrial process automation.
- Demonstrate a minimum of seven years of professional experience in the field.
- Show strong familiarity with fieldbus protocols and field device integration methods common in process industries.
- Understand the lifecycle workflows for planning, commissioning, and maintaining process control systems and plants.
- Communicate fluently in both German and English.
- Be available for international travel, estimated at 20% of working time.
