Michael Page seeks a Transaction Manager for its Corporate Banking Desk in Geneva. The role requires fluency in Turkish and English to handle trade finance and corporate banking transactions.
This position sits within the Corporate Banking Desk at the bank, focusing on the review and structuring of corporate banking and trade finance deals. The incumbent ensures these transactions align with established credit limits and risk guidelines while facilitating smooth execution.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and structure corporate banking and trade finance deals according to approved credit limits and risk parameters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the execution of both financed and non-financed transactions.
- Act as the first line of defense by monitoring credit line usage, collateral coverage, and transactional risks.
- Oversee payments, trade finance instruments, foreign exchange activities, and other banking operations.
- Maintain communication with clients and Relationship Managers to support deal execution and maximize facility usage.
- Track transaction pipelines, repayment schedules, and facility maturities to ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
- Assist in preparing documentation for credit renewals and amendments.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve credit, operational, or compliance issues as needed.
- Provide regular updates to clients and management.
- Participate in daily office activities.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in corporate banking, trade finance, or transaction management.
- Solid understanding of trade finance products, banking operations, and credit facilities.
- Strong awareness of risk and transactional controls.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Fluency in both Turkish and English is mandatory.
- Residence in Switzerland is preferred.
