ABB seeks a Technical Trainer for Power Electronics in Quartino, Switzerland. The role involves designing and delivering global technical training while supporting the Critical Power business line.
This position supports the Critical Power business line within ABB's Electrification Smart Power division. The professional will design, develop, and deliver technical training to participants worldwide, based out of Quartino, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct training sessions in classroom or on-site settings, including follow-up activities.
- Create course materials for classroom and on-site training, and advise on updates for e-learning content.
- Provide technical support to Field Service teams and other units as needed.
- Manage course administration, including coordinating logistics, answering inquiries, and preparing training proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in power protection, service operations, engineering, testing, technical training, or related electrical/electronic disciplines.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in delivering technical training, knowledge transfer, or customer support activities.
- Hands-on experience with critical power equipment and systems.
- Additional education, certification, or practical experience in adult learning and training methodologies.
