AI Intern

Garda Capital Partners seeks an AI Intern for its Innovation Lab in Geneva to develop LLM and Agentic AI solutions for financial applications.

This position sits within a specialized Innovation Lab at the firm, offering a focused environment for researching, building, and deploying advanced artificial intelligence technologies. The intern will contribute to high-impact projects that support the hedge fund's front office and risk management operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating new business solutions by leveraging Language Models and Agentic AI workflows.
• Collaborate with senior team members to design and implement AI-driven tools for front office and risk systems, aiming to speed up decision-making.
• Develop custom tools for alternative data analysis and signal processing, including automating data extraction, synthesis, and reporting.
• Transform team concepts into minimum viable products, iterating quickly based on stakeholder input.
• Evaluate the potential of frontier AI and deep learning research to address the firm's core business challenges.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Solid understanding of computer science basics, such as data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous programming.
• Proficient in the Python ecosystem, with hands-on experience using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
