Biotechnologist 100% (m/w/d)

Lonza is hiring a Biotechnologist for its Visp, Switzerland facility to support life sciences production growth. The role involves production operations, quality compliance, and team support within a shift-based environment.

This position is based at Lonza's Visp site in Switzerland, where the company is expanding its life sciences operations. The role focuses on supporting production activities across multiple business units within the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production tasks while adhering to safety protocols and cGMP quality standards.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve process deviations.
• Perform manufacturing steps and handle related documentation and calculations.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry or biopharmaceuticals.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, such as operator or production technician roles.
• Commitment to safety-conscious practices.
• Understanding of process engineering principles.
• Availability for shift work, including a 4-shift rotation, with flexible scheduling.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
