This position places the candidate within the Cardano Foundation’s legal department in Zurich, focusing on the intersection of technology, regulation, and governance. The role offers insight into how global blockchain infrastructure is developed within a multi-stakeholder framework.
Responsibilities
- Perform legal research and assist with assessments regarding global blockchain regulations, financial services laws, data protection, and other relevant regulatory changes.
- Help draft, review, and manage various legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements and provider contracts.
- Support the team in preparing responses to general inquiries, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with internal governance procedures.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Swiss law degree program (such as BLaw or MLaw) with at least three semesters completed.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and German.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Nice to have
- Previous experience or knowledge in contract law, financial services regulation, data protection, or intellectual property.
- A genuine interest in blockchain technology and decentralized public infrastructure, along with a desire to learn more about the field.
