Business Analyst - Client Lifecycle Management (CLM)

Avaloq seeks a Business Analyst for its Client Lifecycle Management team in Bioggio, Switzerland. The role focuses on stabilizing platform operations, translating client needs into technical specs, and managing service incidents within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the Service Operations team, specifically supporting Client Lifecycle and Relationship Management. The primary purpose is to bridge the gap between clients, service teams, and developers, ensuring the Avaloq software platform runs smoothly while driving continuous improvements to the products offered to financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the reliable and efficient functioning of CLM/CRM solutions and associated third-party tools.
• Gather client needs and convert them into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Handle incidents and service requests from initial triage through to final resolution and impact analysis.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication.
• Assist in integrating new banking services into the operational support framework.
• Participate in testing phases, including functional validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Help deliver product enhancements and new features to the market.
• Keep documentation up to date and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst, or substantial background in banking/financial services with significant analysis duties.
• Strong analytical abilities to conceptualize and solve complex business problems.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset, capable of translating business language into technical terms.
• A self-driven, organized work style with a genuine interest in continuous learning.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Full professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Background in application support, incident management, or service operations.
• Understanding of CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding processes, and related third-party systems.
• Experience with cloud environments and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Certification or knowledge of Avaloq Core.
• Fluency in German.
