Technical Business Analyst

Elca Informatik AG seeks a Technical Business Analyst in Pully to bridge business needs with technical digital solutions within a multidisciplinary team.

This position is part of the ELCA Digital Agency, a dynamic group focused on helping clients modernize their customer relationships and experiences through web and mobile platforms. The role operates within a practice that integrates project management, business analysis, UX, and development, requiring the analyst to drive ambitious digitalization projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical digital solutions, including API and integration flows.
• Create detailed scoping documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and front-end or back-end specifications.
• Lead client workshops to identify needs, evaluate proposed solutions, and align stakeholder expectations.
• Liaise with internal and offshore development teams to ensure clear understanding and execution of requirements.
• Manage technical and functional alignment with third-party vendors regarding dependencies and roadmaps.
• Develop test scenarios and conduct functional acceptance testing during project phases.
• Oversee project progress and quality within the defined scope, extending beyond mere specification writing.
• Work closely daily with architects, UX/UI designers, and lead developers in a multidisciplinary setting.

Requirements

• A degree in computer engineering, management, or information systems.
• Minimum of four years of professional experience, including an initial period working as a developer.
• Proven track record as a Business Analyst, preferably on digital web or mobile projects.
• Strong technical aptitude to analyze APIs, data flows, and integration architectures.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and associated deliverables such as user stories and backlogs.
• Experience in facilitating client workshops and coordinating development teams.
• Fluency in both French and English.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools within design or development project contexts.
• Ability to communicate in German.
