Business Analyst Global Product Group DT

The company seeks a Senior Business Analyst to lead digitalization projects and develop Power BI reporting for global operations. The role focuses on data analytics, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement within a remote setting based in Zurich.

This position serves as the primary business analyst for core digitalization initiatives across the company's manufacturing portfolio. The role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize reporting processes for global operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data governance standards and document all reporting processes within the digital operations area.
• Translate business needs into structured documentation using established templates.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting tools and methodologies for better efficiency.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques and emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities.
• Train business users on analytics reports, core digital tools, and the TrafoSignature platform.
• Partner with global teams, hubs, and factories to gather requirements and deliver customized reporting solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact between technical developers and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Lead functional and business analysis for key projects including Digital TrafoSignature, ECS, IBA, and Matterport.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and validation alongside key users and IT staff.
• Update website content on the GPG DT portal using the company's CMS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of experience in end-to-end data analytics, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report scheduling.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, visualization, and integration from sources like SAP, SQL, Azure, and Power Automate.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global technical teams and stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of functional and business analysis methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a global team.
