Platform & Power BI Analyst

The company seeks a Mid-level Platform & Power BI Analyst in Pratteln, CH, to develop BI solutions, manage the Power BI platform, and support data-driven decisions through interactive dashboards and data modeling.

This position focuses on building and refining Power BI reports and dashboards while translating business needs into reliable analytics solutions. The analyst will handle data preparation, model optimization, and platform governance to help departments make informed decisions through clear insights.

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and upkeep interactive Power BI reports and dashboards
• Gather business needs and convert them into lasting analytics solutions
• Prepare, model, and transform data originating from multiple sources
• Maintain data integrity and enhance current data models
• Oversee the Power BI platform, including governance structures and access controls
• Assist business units in making data-driven choices through targeted analyses
• Improve the speed and efficiency of reports, datasets, and dataflows
• Work alongside business stakeholders, IT staff, and global teams
• Record BI solutions and assist end users with their queries

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service), including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, and SharePoint
• Proven ability in requirements gathering and business analysis
• Good understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing
• Experience in an international corporate environment
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Ideally, familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud platforms
• Experience in logistics or supply chain is an advantage
• Understanding of Data Governance and BI best practices is an advantage
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and API integrations is a plus
• German and/or French are an advantage
