Analytics Engineer - Operations Transformation

Richemont seeks an Analytics Engineer to lead the migration of its analytics stack from Power BI to a modern GCP-based platform, focusing on data modeling and dashboard development within the Operations Department.

This position supports the Data Transformation Program in the Operations Department. The main objective is to transition the current analytics infrastructure from Power BI to a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, ensuring robust data models and actionable insights for manufacturing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of analytics tools from Power BI to dbt and Looker, including the creation of BigQuery data models.
• Create Looker Explores and build dashboards that translate complex Manufacturing and Operations data into clear, actionable insights.
• Manage the full data lifecycle, including collection, cleaning, validation, and modeling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and help shape the data analytics project roadmap.
• Maintain high standards for data accuracy, integrity, and governance.
• Establish strong data validation processes and document reporting logic and definitions.
• Use data-driven analysis to spot inefficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
• Present complex data findings to various audiences through compelling visualizations and clear narratives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data, Engineering, Business Intelligence, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid understanding of reporting and analytics processes, particularly within Supply Chain or Manufacturing contexts.
• Proficiency in advanced analytics tools such as Looker, SQL, Data modeling, BigQuery, Jira, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
