Finance Analytics Engineer

The company seeks a Finance Analytics Engineer in Bellevue, CH, to bridge business needs and data solutions for FP&A, combining analytical engineering with finance expertise.

This position integrates analytical engineering with strong finance domain knowledge to support the FP&A organization. The role focuses on translating business requirements into data solutions, validating outputs, and enabling effective operations within the new data environment. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Group Data Office, Finance Process & Data, and FP&A leadership within a high-impact team.

Responsibilities

• Define data requirements, form, and quality standards for the GCP/Looker migration for FP&A.
• Serve as the main contact between Group Business Analytics and the Finance Data domain lead.
• Create, verify, and maintain Looker dashboards and data models to support reporting and insights.
• Promote the adoption of the new data platform in Central Group Finance through training, documentation, and support.
• Identify and resolve data gaps by collaborating with upstream teams to ensure data assets are accurate and accessible.
• Help the Business Analytics team adapt to the new stack by upskilling colleagues and promoting best data practices.
• Participate in designing and enhancing the team's reporting and insight infrastructure.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in analytics, data, or BI roles, preferably in a finance context.
• Strong hands-on skills in SQL and BigQuery.
• Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into data models, dashboards, or analytical solutions.
• Solid understanding of finance processes, reporting cycles, and KPIs.
• Experience participating in data migration or platform transformation programs.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with Looker (LookML).
• French language skills.
