AP Executive seeks a Lead Engineer for its Data Platform in Geneva. The role focuses on architecting real-time data systems and driving technical roadmap delivery within a high-growth fintech environment.
AP Executive is expanding its internal engineering team at a critical growth phase. This position offers the chance to actively shape the architecture of a real-time data platform while collaborating with senior leadership to define and execute the technical roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior engineering leaders to deliver on the technical roadmap.
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable software and infrastructure components.
- Champion engineering best practices, including documentation and governance standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Translate business requirements from product and data teams into effective technical solutions.
- Drive the architecture and evolution of the company's real-time data platform.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software or data engineering, preferably within fintech, media, or high-growth tech sectors.
- Proven track record of shipping features in fast-paced, lean environments.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern development methodologies.
- Experience operating within data-intensive, analytics-driven, or real-time system environments.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with crypto, financial data, or market data products.
- Background in startup or scale-up environments.
- French language proficiency.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
