Analytics Engineer - Operations Transformation

Roger Dubuis seeks an Analytics Engineer to lead the migration of its analytics stack to a modern GCP platform within the Operations Department. This role focuses on building data models and dashboards using Looker and BigQuery.

This position supports the Data Transformation Program in the Operations Department. The main objective is to transition the current analytics infrastructure from Power BI to a modern platform based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Support the migration to dbt and Looker by constructing BigQuery data models.
  • Create Looker Explores and generate dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Design interactive visualizations that convert complex Manufacturing and Operations data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Manage the full data lifecycle, including collection, cleaning, validation, and modeling.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to define reporting requirements and help shape the data analytics roadmap.
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and governance.
  • Establish robust data validation processes and document reporting logic and definitions.
  • Use data-driven analysis to spot inefficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Present complex data findings to various audiences through compelling visualizations and clear narratives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Data, Engineering, Business Intelligence, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of reporting and analytics processes, particularly within Supply Chain or Manufacturing contexts.
  • Proficiency with advanced analytics tools, including Looker, SQL, data modeling, BigQuery, Jira, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
