Business Process Architect

Siegfried seeks a Business Process Architect in Zofingen to lead process mapping, governance, and digital transformation initiatives within its pharmaceutical operations.

This position sits within the digitalization team at the Zofingen site, reporting directly to the Global Head of Digitalization. The company serves as a trusted partner to the pharmaceutical industry, and this role is critical for aligning operational processes with corporate strategy and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, and upkeep enterprise-level process architectures.
• Execute process mapping and modeling using established frameworks such as BPMN, APQC, and SCOR.
• Guarantee that process designs comply with corporate strategy, industry best practices, and regulatory mandates.
• Spot and rank opportunities for automating, simplifying, and improving process performance.
• Collaborate with digital transformation peers to integrate new solutions into operations.
• Build and sustain governance frameworks for process management.
• Perform regular audits to ensure processes remain aligned with changing regulations.
• Serve as the liaison between IT, senior leadership, and operational teams.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to transfer knowledge across the organization.
• Promote a culture that embraces process-oriented thinking.
• Steer digital transformation projects, including managing idea pipelines and engaging stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in business or digital transformation, AI implementation, or technology projects.
• Proficiency in business English.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and facilitation abilities.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management competencies.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent advanced business management qualification.
• Professional certification like CBAP or CBPA.
• Proficiency in the German language.
