Jet Aviation seeks a Cabin Installation Supervisor in Basel to lead technicians in business jet completions, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
This position involves directing a team of electricians and cabin installation specialists to execute complex aircraft completion projects. The supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining project timelines, budget adherence, and strict compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and inspire a group of up to 18 technicians to foster a cooperative and productive workplace.
- Allocate daily tasks, track progress, and confirm that all work meets the specific quality benchmarks of Jet Basel.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance staff, and external suppliers to facilitate seamless project operations.
- Ensure all activities comply with Tier 4 standards, Project Work Breakdown Structures, and Earned Value management guidelines.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety protocols in the workspace, enforcing environmental and safety regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact for resolving issues and communicating with internal stakeholders.
- Assess workloads and schedules to maximize team efficiency and ensure deadlines are met.
- Hold regular team meetings to discuss contributions, engagement, and professional growth, providing feedback and recognition.
- Share company and departmental updates with the team and relay team feedback to management.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
- In-depth technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance documentation.
- Familiarity with FOCA, EASA, FAA, and other regulatory processes.
- Solid understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP ERP or similar systems.
- Fluent English skills (B2 level or above).
