AMAC Aerospace seeks a Senior Leader for Completion & Maintenance in Basel. This on-site role oversees base maintenance, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages team operations within a dynamic, owner-managed environment.
The company is looking for a senior professional to lead and coordinate completion and base maintenance activities. This multifaceted position operates within an exclusive setting, requiring the holder to take responsibility for high-quality aircraft servicing while managing team workflows and ensuring strict adherence to airworthiness standards.
Responsibilities
- Direct and organize completion and base maintenance tasks, including modifications, ensuring all work aligns with approved data and supervisor instructions.
- Guarantee that every operation meets airworthiness standards, internal company procedures, and the specific quality expectations for VIP clients.
- Oversee strict adherence to work sign-off protocols, tool control measures, and documentation standards.
- Allocate team workload, prioritize activities, and ensure timely project delivery according to tight schedules.
- Detect, report, and resolve non-conformities while upholding rigorous quality benchmarks.
- Serve as certifying staff to release aircraft into service and conduct double inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with Part-21 and Part-145 regulations, covering inspections, torque application, locking devices, sealing, inserts installation, and EWIS requirements.
- Manage the proper handling of aeronautical materials and the optimal use of tools and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the cabin work environment.
Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA Part-66 Cat B1/C license with type ratings for both Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
- Possess at least five years of practical experience in base maintenance.
- Have four to five years of experience as Part-21 Certifying Staff.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Fluency in English, French, or German.
