Henkel & Cie AG seeks a Category Manager & Business Intelligence Specialist to merge commercial strategy with data analytics for informed decision-making in Switzerland.
This position integrates category management expertise with business intelligence capabilities. The primary objective is to leverage data analysis to guide commercial strategies and support key business decisions.
Responsibilities
Create strategies for category development, product assortment, pricing, and innovation that align with customer and business goals.
Examine data related to sales, market conditions, consumer behavior, competitors, and promotions to provide strategic advice.
Guide internal teams and clients on optimizing assortments, planograms, shelf allocation, and growing category performance.
Build and upkeep dashboards, key performance indicators, and reports to support commercial choices and track business results.
Streamline, automate, and improve data integration to ensure accurate analysis and operational efficiency.
Track product launches, industry trends, and shopper habits, presenting findings to leadership through clear executive summaries.
Requirements
A university degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
Prior professional experience in Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Business Intelligence, Trade Marketing, or Commercial Analytics.
High-level competence in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, specifically utilizing Power Query and Power Pivot.
Familiarity with SQL, Python, and database management techniques for analytical purposes.
Hands-on experience using market intelligence platforms like NielsenIQ, Kantar, or comparable services.
Excellent abilities in data visualization, analytical thinking, and communication, with a talent for converting complex data into actionable business insights.
Nice to have
Understanding of SAP ecosystems, including SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or other BI solutions.
