Central File Officer

Mirabaud seeks a Central File Officer in Geneva to manage client onboarding, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the Front Office with documentation and legal research.

This position focuses on the end-to-end management of client relationships within the core banking infrastructure. The officer is responsible for verifying account opening documents against strict regulatory frameworks and providing advisory support to the Front Office team.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing account opening files to ensure adherence to CDB, AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, QI-FATCA, and CRS regulations.
• Managing the creation, modification, and termination of client profiles in the primary banking system.
• Providing guidance and support to the Front Office regarding file requirements.
• Conducting legal research to support compliance and operational needs.
• Preparing certificates and reference letters in coordination with the Legal Department.
• Processing and resolving name screening alerts.
• Digitizing and storing client documentation according to archival standards.
• Contributing to special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• A university degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of six years of experience in a comparable role within a Swiss banking institution.
• Strong proficiency with banking IT platforms and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency in both French and English.
