The Swiss Biotech Association is undergoing a planned leadership transition, with the current CEO concluding their mandate by spring 2027. This high-visibility role requires a leader to drive strategic direction, ensure operational and financial stability, and serve as the primary representative for the Swiss biotech ecosystem both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and ensure operational and financial stability for the association.
• Lead and develop the internal team while maintaining high operational standards.
• Represent the Swiss biotech industry externally to stakeholders including startups, SMEs, large pharmaceutical companies, investors, regulators, and academic institutions.
• Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors and its President to guide the organization.
• Ensure the association remains the central hub and resource for the Swiss biotech community.
