Client Associate

Vontobel Asset Management seeks a Client Associate in Zürich to manage client portfolios and support financial advisers, requiring banking experience and bilingual skills.

This position supports the team at Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers, a US-licensed Registered Investment Adviser. The role focuses on taking ownership of client portfolio management while keeping the client's specific needs as the primary priority.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts by handling cash flow, executing stock exchange orders, overseeing execution control, and processing fiduciary deposit renewals.
• Proactively identify potential risks by closely monitoring compliance and risk indicators.
• Advise relationship managers on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, assist in organizing client meetings, and draft investment proposals.
• Facilitate the seamless onboarding of new clients and ensure the timely closure of existing accounts.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a comparable role within the banking sector.
• Professional fluency in both English and German.
• Solid comprehension of financial markets and various financial products.
• Strong proficiency with IT systems, including MS Office and other relevant software tools.
