Infinigate Group, a leading technology and cybersecurity distributor based in Switzerland, seeks a mid-level Compliance Officer for a hybrid role in Rotkreuz. The position involves developing and maintaining a global compliance framework aligned with regulations in Switzerland, EU, UK, and APAC regions.
Infinigate Group, headquartered in Switzerland and operating across EMEA and Australia/NZ, is strengthening its global governance, risk, and compliance framework. This Compliance Officer role supports that effort by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across distribution, cybersecurity, export controls, and trade sanctions, with a hybrid work model based in Rotkreuz.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a global compliance framework that aligns with regulations in Switzerland, EU, UK, and APAC, covering distribution, cybersecurity, export controls, and trade sanctions.
- Track changes in relevant laws and regulations, and convert them into clear internal policies and procedures.
- Help implement and train employees and third parties on compliance programs across EMEA, Middle East, and Australia/NZ.
- Perform risk-based reviews of business processes, contracts, and controls, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the upkeep of a code of conduct, whistleblower channels, and related awareness campaigns.
- Work with Legal, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Operations to ensure compliance in trade, pricing, and contracts, including antitrust, incentives, and gift policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external compliance questions, offering guidance and escalation routes.
- Manage compliance documentation, registers, and reporting, including updates to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- A university degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in compliance or risk management, preferably in an international B2B setting.
- Strong grasp of Swiss, EU, and UK regulatory frameworks, with willingness to learn about Middle East and Australian/NZ regulations.
- Experience conducting compliance risk assessments and running awareness initiatives.
- Structured, detail-focused, and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and ethical judgment in business decisions.
Nice to have
- Legal training, such as an LLB or equivalent, is highly advantageous.
- Additional languages are helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial contracts, distribution models, and channel business (including value-added resellers, managed service providers, and resellers) is a clear plus.
