LGT seeks a Senior Compliance Officer in Zürich to manage Swiss and cross-border regulatory matters, including FinSA and MiFID, for its private banking operations.
The company operates as a leading family-owned private banking and asset management group. This role serves as the primary expert for regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to Swiss and European financial laws while supporting the Lugano branch and cross-border product distribution activities.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for inquiries regarding Swiss and international regulatory frameworks, specifically FinSA, MiFID, and CRD VI.
- Manage regulatory affairs and serve as the lead contact for the Lugano branch.
- Assist in executing projects related to Swiss and European financial market legislation.
- Evaluate and address questions concerning the distribution of financial products across borders.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree in Law.
- Have multiple years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within private or commercial banking.
- Demonstrate fluency in German, Italian, and English in both written and spoken forms.
- Show strong analytical abilities, precision, independence, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Work effectively within a team and approach new challenges with dedication.
- Be available to travel within Switzerland, with a focus on trips to Lugano.

- Admission to the Swiss Bar.
- Familiarity with standard banking IT applications.
