The company seeks a Graduate Consultant for its Reward team in Zürich. The role involves supporting remuneration projects, conducting analyses, and developing compensation strategies for clients across various industries.

The company's People Advisory Services division focuses on helping clients optimize their people management strategies. Within the Reward team, the role supports clients in navigating complex compensation challenges, including executive pay, fringe benefits, regulatory compliance, and broad-based equity programs. The position offers a varied career path with exposure to projects of different scales across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning and executing consulting assignments related to employee remuneration for clients in diverse industries.
  • Contribute to all phases of client projects, including project coordination, data analysis, strategy development, and the creation of client-facing presentations and concepts.
  • Help design and refine compensation frameworks, including job evaluations, role descriptions, market benchmarking, and salary structures.
  • Prepare proposals for prospective and current clients across various market segments.
  • Maintain and update the firm's internal salary database.
  • Support the execution of equal pay assessments.
  • Review and analyze project documentation and reports.
  • Partner with senior project leaders to nurture and sustain client relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal advisory colleagues and global service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Economics or Finance, paired with a solid grasp of compensation and rewards concepts.
  • Initial professional experience in corporate HR, compensation & benefits, or management consulting.
  • Proficiency in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, along with the ability to craft clear presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, with a track record of producing high-quality reports and presentations.

Nice to have

  • Prior involvement in people-related initiatives, such as employee retention strategies, compensation design, or benefits program management.
  • Basic experience in people consulting, including conducting pay surveys, managing daily compensation operations, or understanding market reward trends.
  • Experience contributing to project workstreams.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to integrate smoothly into new teams.
  • The capacity to dissect complex issues and provide practical, sustainable solutions.
  • A pragmatic and adaptable approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage conflict effectively.
