Corporate Controller (a)

Green Datacenter seeks a Senior Corporate Controller in Lupfig to manage financial controlling, cost optimization, and reporting. The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, budgeting, and fluency in English and German.

The Corporate Controller at Green Datacenter oversees the company’s financial management, focusing on revenue performance, operating cost efficiency, and transparency. This position plays a key role in supporting strategic decisions, ensuring high-quality reporting, and driving the digitalization of finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of operating expenses (OPEX) across the organization.
• Enhance cost control frameworks to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
• Maintain the cost accounting system, including annual updates of allocation keys.
• Manage the annual budgeting process with a focus on client revenue streams and profitability.
• Create detailed financial forecasts covering revenue projections, cost structures, and margin analysis.
• Track budget versus actual performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Prepare periodic management reports, including financial performance, KPIs, and variance analysis.
• Compile reporting packages for management and shareholders.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and provide strategic insights.
• Oversee and validate sales provisions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze the financial performance of client projects, including profitability and margin tracking.
• Supervise periodic client billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the digital transformation of the finance function by focusing on automation and process efficiency.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in controlling, preferably within infrastructure, technology, or data center sectors.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and revenue management.
• Proven experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Fluency in both English and German is required.
• Candidates must hold a valid Swiss work permit and be currently based in Switzerland.
