Deals Financial Services Strategy & Operations Manager

PwC seeks a Senior Deals Financial Services Strategy & Operations Manager in Zürich to lead complex M&A transactions, integrations, and separations for financial services clients, leveraging AI tools and project management expertise.

This position sits within PwC’s Deals Financial Services team, specializing in Strategy & Operations. The role is designed to help clients maximize value during deal transactions by addressing transformational challenges and operational complexities both before and after closing. As part of a rapidly expanding practice that is a leading provider of M&A consulting in Switzerland, the successful candidate will manage large-scale enterprise-wide integrations, confirmatory due diligence, and complex divestitures across various functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI-based tools to assist Deals and Transformation teams in service delivery.
• Focus on financial services clients, with a specific emphasis on large insurance companies.
• Work closely with colleagues in the US network and other internal teams.
• Help clients optimize legal structures through legal rationalization and separation processes.
• Partner with Deals and Advisory services on major deals and transformation initiatives.
• Oversee complex project structures spanning multiple regions and workstreams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• At least six years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience using AI-supported tools to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Background in M&A execution, including business integrations and carve-outs within the financial services sector, particularly insurance.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end transaction process.
• Strong project management skills with experience overseeing a Project Management Office (PMO) across multiple geographies.

• Prior experience in the financial services industry or at Big4 consulting firms.
