KPMG AG seeks a mid-level Consultant for Deal Advisory in Financial Services, based in Zürich. The role focuses on executing financial due diligence and advising on M&A transactions for national and international clients.
As a key member of the deal advisory team, you will execute financial due diligence projects and support clients through complex transactions. The position involves advising on both domestic and international mergers and acquisitions within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Support clients during strategic acquisitions or disposals by delivering thorough due diligence services.
- Gather, organize, and evaluate financial, commercial, and operational data to determine key deal metrics, including sustainable revenues, adjusted net assets, and future cash flows, using MS Excel and specialized analytics tools.
- Help create high-quality due diligence reports and client presentations.
- Participate in business development efforts, including preparing marketing materials and company profiles.
- Conduct industry research and market analysis, contributing to internal publications.
- Manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or Economics, preferably with a focus on accounting or corporate finance.
- Initial experience in transaction services, M&A, or audit.
- Strong analytical skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to explain complex topics clearly.
- Commitment to high-quality work, willingness to take responsibility, and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Motivated, reliable, and team-oriented with fluent German and excellent English; French proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Demonstrated exceptional achievement in business, private endeavors, or academics.
