Delivery Project Manager

Blockstream seeks a Mid-level Delivery Project Manager in Zurich, CH, to lead client-facing delivery of enterprise solutions. The role involves managing project workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

This client-facing role is responsible for executing defined client solutions, managing project workstreams, and supporting solution shaping across enterprise and institutional engagements. Reporting to Senior Managers and the Director, Head of Delivery, the Delivery Manager ensures reliable, production-ready outcomes within Blockstream’s Service & Enterprise Solutions organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of client solutions and oversee project workstreams in enterprise and institutional engagements.
• Plan and monitor project activities, including tasks, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Provide delivery insights during solution definition and deal shaping, covering scope, sequencing, risks, and feasibility.
• Implement delivery plans that address timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate efforts across Engineering, Product, Integration, vendors, and client teams to maintain alignment and progress.
• Track project progress, risks, and issues, escalating concerns to senior leadership as needed.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, and meeting records.
• Facilitate project meetings such as planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Monitor delivery commitments and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Support testing, go-live, operational readiness, and early production stabilization efforts.
• Ensure all delivery activities meet governance, quality, contractual, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with delivery reporting, documentation, and client-facing communications.
• Participate in initiatives to improve delivery processes, project management frameworks, and tooling.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in delivery management, project management, program coordination, or solution implementation in banking, financial services, fintech, or technology infrastructure.
• Proven track record managing technical delivery projects and multi-system solutions in complex, regulated environments.
• Understanding of project tracking, risk management, delivery coordination, and managing multiple delivery streams.
• Experience supporting regulated financial services clients in banking, custody, payments, or capital markets.
• Strong organizational and execution skills to manage multiple delivery streams and priorities.
• Familiarity with modern delivery environments, including cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD-driven execution.
• Experience with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and client representatives.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work across multiple teams and geographies with high-quality, high-touch client engagement throughout delivery phases.
• Must be fluent in Swiss German, German, and English.
• Must be located in Switzerland, with focus on Zurich, Geneva, or Lugano.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital asset, blockchain, crypto infrastructure, custody, or payments platforms.
• Background in core banking or financial market infrastructure systems.
• Previous work in consulting, system integration, or managed services organizations.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe in project management.
• Interest in advancing to Senior Delivery Manager or other senior project management roles.
