Application Manager - Wallet Infrastructure

Crypto Finance AG seeks an Application Manager for Wallet Infrastructure in Zurich. The role ensures platform stability, manages production incidents, and supports client integrations within a fintech environment.

This position operates at the intersection of technology, operations, and client service. The primary purpose is to maintain the stability and performance of the wallet infrastructure platform while facilitating the onboarding of new institutional clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations to guarantee production availability, stability, and performance.
• Serve as the second-line owner for production incidents, handling escalations, triage, and resolution via configuration changes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and escalate code-level defects to the engineering team when necessary.
• Coordinate platform releases with engineering and QA, including scheduling, change control, and validation.
• Assist institutional clients with integration and troubleshooting, ensuring they pass conformance testing before going live.
• Configure and maintain application settings to align with business and client needs.
• Manage the ticketing backlog, prioritizing production issues and improvement requests.
• Analyze platform performance to drive enhancements in reliability, speed, and scalability.
• Partner with the Product Manager to ensure timely delivery of platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and meet business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, including DORA.
• Maintain up-to-date platform documentation and a comprehensive knowledge base.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience operating or managing production-grade financial technology platforms.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, transaction workflows, and wallet infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in production incident management and root cause analysis.
• Experience coordinating releases and managing changes across technical and vendor teams.
• Strong knowledge of API-based integrations and system connectivity, specifically REST and WebSocket.
• Proficiency with ticketing and backlog management tools, with Jira being preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to financial markets, such as DORA.
