Cryptonow seeks a Technical Operations Specialist in Zürich to ensure daily operational excellence for digital assets across Europe through technical coordination and incident management.
This position serves as a key contributor to the daily operational excellence of all digital asset activities within the European region. The role demands robust technical coordination abilities, enabling the incumbent to lead service teams and external vendors while maintaining high availability in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain daily technical operations, including systems, processes, and operational controls.
- Handle system monitoring and alert responses to guarantee service uptime and rapid identification of issues.
- Lead incident management processes, covering troubleshooting, technical escalations, stakeholder coordination, and post-incident reviews.
- Oversee wallet operations by monitoring balances, ensuring operational readiness, managing sweeping, signing transactions, and enforcing controls on critical flows.
- Coordinate operational workflows such as exchange loads and foreign exchange trades to ensure traceability and timely execution.
- Manage ATM field operations, including technician scheduling, ticket prioritization, and hands-on support for setups and maintenance.
- Collaborate with external partners on server security and maintenance to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Execute and maintain business continuity runbooks for critical services, including RTO/RPO targets, failover steps, and disaster recovery test evidence.
- Oversee ICT third parties by tracking SLAs and security obligations, coordinating control reviews, and maintaining documentation for vendor risk and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in technical operations, support, or production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and structured problem-solving skills within high-availability contexts.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system monitoring tools.
- Fundamental server administration knowledge, specifically Linux, including routine updates and security patching.
- Familiarity with security best practices and incident response protocols, with the ability to manage operational risk calmly.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills for managing tickets, vendors, technicians, and cross-team dependencies.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive mindset, capable of thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Fluent proficiency in both German and English.
