Crypto ATM TechOps Engineer

Cryptonow seeks a Mid-level TechOps Engineer to maintain Switzerland’s largest crypto ATM network, ensuring hardware/software stability and operational excellence in a hybrid role.

This position plays a key part in keeping Switzerland’s biggest crypto ATM network running smoothly every day. The engineer handles technical upkeep, coordinates field support, resolves issues quickly, and keeps systems online.

Responsibilities

• Handle technical operations and maintenance for the nationwide ATM fleet.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, resolve incidents, and manage technical escalations.
• Coordinate with service providers, logistics partners, and internal field teams to meet service level agreements.
• Prioritize and manage technical on-site support tickets.
• Provide hands-on assistance to field technicians for ATM installation, relocation, and upkeep.
• Oversee the deployment of new machines, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
• Maintain Linux server infrastructure, including applying regular updates and security patches.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in technical operations or support positions.
• A degree or training in a technical discipline.
• Solid grasp of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and system monitoring tools.
• Fundamental server administration skills, specifically with Linux.
• Awareness of security best practices and incident response procedures.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Basic abilities in scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin, blockchain technology, or cryptocurrency markets.
