Intern - Application Management

Crypto Finance seeks an Intern for Application Management in Zürich. This temporary role supports the platform team with trading systems, incident tracking, and documentation within a regulated fintech environment.

This internship sits within the platform management team, offering practical experience in the daily operations of institutional trading and core-banking infrastructure. The position is designed for students or recent graduates who want to learn about trading technology, digital assets, and operational workflows, including handling production incidents, managing releases, and supporting client onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trading and core banking applications to identify and log issues.
• Support the second-line team by triaging, documenting, and tracking production incidents.
• Assist in preparing platform releases and ensuring change-control procedures are followed.
• Help with client conformance testing and maintain related onboarding records.
• Maintain platform and application configurations under supervision.
• Keep Jira tickets accurate and manage the backlog effectively.
• Support the preparation and execution of tests for platform updates.
• Update and improve platform documentation and the team knowledge base in Confluence.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, finance, or a related discipline.
• A strong interest in trading systems, financial technology, or digital assets.
• Basic knowledge of software integration, such as APIs, with familiarity in FIX or REST being advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities, along with a eagerness to learn.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Academic coursework, personal projects, or general interest in digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
• Prior experience using ticketing or documentation platforms like Jira and Confluence.
• Exposure to capital markets, trading activities, or financial services environments.
• Comfort with technical documentation and structured operational processes.
