Rothschild and Co Bank CH seeks an Intern for Information Security & Data Protection in Zürich. This full-time, onsite role supports cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance within the Wealth Management division.
This position sits within the Information Security & Data Protection team of the Wealth Management division, reporting to Group Risk. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a regulated banking setting, contributing to cybersecurity governance and key regulatory projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute assessments of information security controls and protocols.
- Evaluate security risks associated with third-party vendors.
- Assist in maintaining the organization's data protection framework.
- Prepare KPI and KRI reports, including security metrics and compliance dashboards for leadership.
- Coordinate security awareness initiatives, including newsletter content and training sessions.
- Carry out risk management activities and control assessments for information security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Up to two years of professional experience in information security or data protection; relevant internships are also considered.
- Fundamental knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST, and/or data protection laws like GDPR or Swiss FADP.
- Fluent English proficiency and solid working knowledge of German are required.
Nice to have
- Interest in regulatory topics such as FINMA, DORA, or SWIFT CSP, with a desire to build expertise in these areas.
- Proficiency in Italian and/or French is advantageous.
