Rothschild and Co Bank CH seeks a Portfolio Management Intern for a 9–12 month full-time role in Zürich. The position supports the Wealth Management division with portfolio analysis, strategy implementation, and client reporting.
This internship provides a nine to twelve-month opportunity within the Portfolio Management team of the Wealth Management division. The role is designed to give candidates practical exposure to managing discretionary client portfolios and implementing investment strategies in an international private banking setting.
Responsibilities
- Help execute investment strategies for various client portfolios
- Monitor discretionary portfolios to ensure compliance with investment guidelines
- Participate in portfolio reviews, rebalancing tasks, and general management processes
- Draft standard investment proposals and materials for client presentations
- Prepare portfolio reports and other investment-related documentation
- Facilitate communication and information exchange between Portfolio Management, the Investment Department, and other stakeholders
- Perform market and portfolio analyses to aid investment decisions
- Handle administrative duties and ad hoc requests related to portfolio management
Requirements
- Hold a high school diploma with a banking apprenticeship or possess a university degree
- Demonstrate fluency in both English and German
- Show a strong grasp of financial instruments and all asset classes
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication and organizational capabilities
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA
- Familiarity with the Avaloq platform
