Roche seeks a Finance Intern for its Enterprise Center of Excellence in Basel, starting August 2026. The role supports senior leadership with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights.
This internship is embedded within the Enterprise Center of Excellence, a team dedicated to providing timely, accurate, and decision-relevant financial information. The group supports the Head of Group Controlling, the Pharma CFO, and the Corporate Executive Committee in driving value creation and managing financial performance through high-level expertise and innovative insights.
Responsibilities
- Creating presentations for the Pharma Leadership Team and Pharma Finance Leadership Team.
- Helping to compile critical management reports for the Corporate Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and other key decision-makers.
- Analyzing the performance of the Roche Pharma Division to generate valuable insights.
- Contributing to various ad-hoc financial projects.
- Ensuring all reports are updated and continuously enhanced.
- Assisting in the preparation of evidence and supporting documents to back-up the reported financial results.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at University studying Finance / Economics or a similar degree, or completed degree within the past 12 months prior to the start date.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
- Excellent command of English.
- Strong analytical skills, quick perception, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within tight timelines.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in VBA.
- IT skills for introducing automation.
