Goldman Sachs, Inc. is hiring a Private Wealth Management Analyst in Zürich for a full-time, on-site junior role. The position supports high-net-worth client relationships and wealth management operations.

The Private Wealth Management division at Goldman Sachs focuses on building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations. This role supports the team in managing client assets, implementing investment strategies, and ensuring smooth operational processes while helping clients preserve and grow their wealth.

Responsibilities

  • Support client service management and provide operational assistance to sales teams for new account setups, liquidity handling, and ongoing client maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Private Wealth Advisors to assist high-profile clients.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process.
  • Act as a liaison between the PWM business and internal departments such as Compliance, Legal, and Tax.
  • Handle daily cash management tasks, including wire transfers, asset movements, and journal entries.
  • Maintain accounts by approving trades for specific products.
  • Present client reporting and web tools to prospective clients.
  • Process alternative investment subscriptions and redemptions, manage fund capital calls, and address related inquiries.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving business efficiency and implementing regulatory updates.
  • Address ad hoc client questions.
  • Provide cross-coverage for the Financial Analyst role, including trading duties.

Requirements

  • Fluent proficiency in both German and English.
  • A commercial apprenticeship in finance or a Bachelor's degree.
  • One to two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Advanced competence in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Capacity to operate effectively in a rapid-paced setting and maintain clarity under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Skill in multitasking and collaborating with various teams and desks across the firm.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and integrity.
  • Completion of region-specific qualifications (CWMA Level 1 in Zurich) within three months.
