Julius Bär seeks a Senior Wealth Planner for Key Clients & Family Office Services in Zürich. The role supports Relationship Managers with UHNW clients, requiring 10+ years of experience, a law or tax degree, and native Spanish proficiency.
As part of the Global Products & Solutions unit, this position delivers specialized wealth planning to assist Relationship Managers. The focus lies on key clients and ultra-high net worth segments, demanding deep expertise in family governance and the harmonization of complex wealth structures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic wealth planning advice to Relationship Managers and their clients, coordinating with internal and external specialists.
- Execute solutions including private insurance, trusts, foundations, and corporate structures in collaboration with providers.
- Act as a subject matter expert during client interactions, adhering to the firm's advisory process.
- Assist the Key Clients & Family Office Services Team in serving ultra-high net worth prospects and existing clients.
- Monitor industry, legal, regulatory, and tax developments to keep clients and stakeholders informed.
- Provide training, knowledge transfer, and support to Relationship Managers on wealth planning matters.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in financial services or private client practices.
- A university degree in Law (specifically from a Latin American country) or a master’s in tax or a related field.
- Native-level proficiency in Spanish.
- Fluent command of English.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated work experience in Mexico.
- Further qualifications in family governance and a track record of serving private clients.
- STEP accreditation.
- Additional European language skills, particularly German.
