Goldman Sachs, Inc. is hiring a Junior Financial Analyst for its Private Wealth Management team in Geneva. The role supports wealth advisors in managing high-net-worth client portfolios and investment strategies.

The Private Wealth Management division at Goldman Sachs focuses on building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations. This position helps clients grow and protect their financial assets by designing long-term investment plans tailored to their risk profiles and providing access to diverse investment opportunities. The analyst will work alongside wealth advisors to create customized strategies and deliver a comprehensive range of wealth management services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Private Wealth Advisors to execute and support wealth management strategies for clients.
  • Create marketing presentations for potential clients, covering equity, fixed income, and alternative investments.
  • Evaluate equity and fixed income portfolios to assess risk and return metrics.
  • Perform portfolio rebalancing tasks.
  • Conduct research on internal and external investment options for client asset allocation.
  • Monitor current financial market developments.
  • Share Goldman Sachs research insights and market perspectives with wealth advisors.
  • Coordinate with various product groups within Investment Management to address client requirements.
  • Provide trading assistance and support client service and team operations.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrate proficient to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Maintain a highly organized approach with meticulous attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different industries and business contexts.
  • Self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Exercise commercial acumen and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of French or Italian is considered an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a relevant field is preferred.
